As a professional PCBA processing factory, our company has a very detailed understanding of PCBA processing. If you are also engaged in this industry, you should also have a knowledge of the entire industry! It takes at least 4 years to have a comprehensive understanding of the preservation and management of components, PCB processing and SMT placement, and subsequent testing and inspection, but you may not know some inside stories!

1. Recycling of tin slag
After SMT patch and DIP plug-in, some scrap will be generated, and tin slag is a part of the scrap. And because the tin slag itself is harmful to the human body, this tin is not the tin that our body needs, and the tin used in the patch processing is a tin-based tin gold compound, so the price itself is not cheap, so the tin slag After production, regular PCBA factories will use special storage containers to collect and store them separately. Then hand it over to a company that specializes in recycling tin slag for disposal.
However, in order to save production costs, many PCBA manufacturers will directly return the tin slag to the furnace and use it again to solder the DIP plug-in. This is something that many companies do, but it will not be mentioned on the surface. In a factory, it is also something that few people know about.

2. the loss rate of materials
Many customers probably know that. Assuming that you produce 100 sets of products yourself, generally a very standardized project will give a loss table based on the BOM list on the entire PCBA circuit board. The above will show which materials are wearing parts and which materials are non-wearing parts. In the material procurement of wearing parts, more materials will be prepared so that the entire order can be completed on schedule. After all, it is not advisable to keep up with the product delivery due to the loss of several materials.
Therefore, generally experienced customers will prepare this information in advance. In fact, this information has already explained to the PCBA manufacturer their tolerance for loss. Don't exceed my expectations, you won't be able to keep up if you exceed my delivery time. Therefore, manufacturers will also pay great attention to this matter in the process of SMT patch processing. Normal customers have certain requirements for purchasing and signing orders. Of course, there are also some customers who do not mention any requirements. Then we will encounter an irresponsible factory, and then a so-so operator will wait for the 100-piece board to be available. There are only 90 pieces in hand, and the remaining 10 pieces will be hand-soldered to you after these lossy parts are filled. So be sure to tell the business or project directly connected with you in the PCBA factory before production, what are my requirements. You make a request and you don't make a request, the result is different!
